Hi all,
I have a load of 2532s that I can't program. My old Stag will burn the -25 and -35 variants, but the -45 variants that I have are rejected. I think it's just a matter of timings but 1> the obsolete programmer doesn't have a way to change any of that and 2> I don't have the inclination to build myself a programmer so I'm a bit stumped.
If anyone has a device that can do the job could I please ask a favour pretty please?

Re: Programming 2532s
Hmm, data sheet says there's no difference in the programming. I wonder if I've been sold duffers?

Or maybe they're the low power variety. I don't recall seeing an 'L' on there, though.

C,
I have a DataIO 3980xpi sat on my desk that I used to recently program my FP ROM.
Happy to give it a try if you want.

Re: Programming 2532s
Of course I want to try to program them. I have a programmer that should handle them. I can also sent you a programmer for the Atom. That programmer needs an external 25V power source. So if there's nobody in the UK who can help you, let me know.

I also have about 5 new 2532's which I took to the last Dutch Techsat meeting for programming, Theo tried to progam them but also failed...

I think my wellon VP880 may handle these too. If you struggle to find anyone to check, let me know. I'll edit this post when I've had a gander.

Re: Programming 2532s
Kicking an old topic but my new ordered 2532A's (TI) program fine on my TL866 with an adapter socket (2732A mode).
Re: Programming 2532s
Interesting to know. I may well give that a try, thanks!
Re: Programming 2532s
Make sure you put the programming voltage on 21V in case of a 2532A.
Re: Programming 2532s
maybe the apple ii programmer for bbc (special rom) can program them

Re: Programming 2532s
My VP-996 will program these. Just postal cost, if anyone is interested?
Could do with the full part number!
