I'm just thinking that a white star on a white tshirt isn't going to look great.
If we go for a black t-shirt I think the printing method will change and the price will go up. One alternative would be to colour the star and the dot, here is black:

I'm nor sure how I feel about that. Any comments or ideas?

Hopefully this is OK.

Or blue?

My personal preference would be to go for a black shirt as long as its not to expensive.

If you want white printing on black then I can thoroughly recommend: https://imagoprint.secure-decoration.com/

I'm not too keen on the invisible star!

If it's a white shirt, dotty owl in black would be favourite for me, black star would be good too.

Black tee would be preferred.

Black t shirt will increase price by at least £3.50 per shirt and I'll need final numbers in earlier.
This is ok by me what about you two?

On a white T-Shirt, might it be better to have the logo as designed but on a black rectangular background...?

Yes, £16 for a black T is good for me. I think I'll calm down a bit and just order one though. Maybe at some later point I can get a dotty owl.

If anyone else would like one for the weekend I'll need notification in this thread by 4 pm on Wednesday and payment as soon as possible after that as thats when I'll be ordering them. This time may change if the printer needs the order earlier or can wait a bit longer. I'll pm or email my paypal address to you as soon as I notice your post asking for a shirt.

Just to firm up order/plan then.

Are we doing multiple designs or just one? I think I prefer the black design, but will go with majority if people prefer black square on white tshirt (MartinB design).

What sizes range are you planning/available?

I would take a medium, small and a childs, if available, but happy just to have a medium if that all starts to make it to complicated. The extra shirts are just a family sweetener.

Payment by paypal? BACS? IOU? Gold Bars? (Ah okay you said paypal, will throw away the ious and put the gold back in the safe)

Edit: And then I noticed you PM'ed me with all the answers to the questions I just posted.

Cool!! Have always wanted to get some StarDot T-Shirts done!!

This would be my suggested design (gotta be on a black shirt!! ;) )

DaveJ are you able to upload an .svg of a white Acorn nut logo? (I made it chunkier/wider than normal on the above mockup, so it appeared similar in width to the owl)

(btw, does anyone know why my images aren't showing inline?)

P.S. Simon, re: t-shirt suppliers, would be worth finding out if the stardot logo can be screenprinted (min order quantity likely to be required e.g. 25) or applied from cut vinyls. As a regular iron-on transfer with a rectangular/square black background may look a bit naff!

Just a mock-up for a possible t-shirt, nothing finalised ...

Thanks topcat96, I like that dotty owl! (I think I'd prefer a discreet patch at top left, in preference to a huge logo... oh, I don't know!)
