A.L.P.S. Rom for the Electron

Postby JonC » Mon Nov 23, 2015 11:57 am

Adventure Language Programming System
I used to own one of these plugged into my Slogger Rombox Plus.

From memory it was quite a powerful text adventure creator, but I've not seen hide nor hair of the ROM version since I had my Electron.
Purely from a nostalgia point of view does anyone have a working ROM? :)

Is the rom different from the BBC B version? Lurkio seems to have that version.

Possibly the ROM is the same, the elk version came with a cassette IIRC....

Lol, just seen this.

I remember vaguely that it did. It would still be nice to find the Electron version and the accompanying cassette software. :)

ALPS is available here:

It's the Beeb version though. I don't have a copy of the Elk version, and I don't know of anyone who has -- and that includes the author of ALPS himself!
