I tried that, still does not work, gets to block 2B, then Data? and crashes....
BUT, if you use BackToLife (.CSW to .WAV) I can confirm it loads back into a actual real beeb \:D/
as the original tape does not  (sideB was closest to working :x )

 I got told how to do it by the expert years ago when he was running the acorn preservation site and I was doing conversions of the software I had at the time.

Did not bother with a UEFhq of these, as no 'streams' or extra blank space between the files. Can make it, if requested.... Thanks to MatthewThompson for not throwing in the bin, & at me instead =D>

Zalaga - Aardvark 1983
This needs to be *RUN, only works on bEm22 as BeebEm414 can't cope with the tape protection loader...
says V2.2 on last file

BOOM-Shankar!

With the Beeb as spicy as this, it should have been illicit!

Electron :
Cybertron Mission - Program Power 1983
Frenzy - Micro Power 1984
Positron - Program Power 1983 (or Gary Partis Soft)

luckily, on all these, game recorded twice on side A, and blank on side B
so 2nd game copy worked first time, as 1st copy had the dreaded usual wind up start of tape

Five A Side Socca -IJK 1983 (or Star Soccer in the first loader by D M Smith) - Electron
IJK-FiveASideSocca-elk.jpg
cov
(17.42 KiB) Not downloaded yet

this is a weird one, completely different from the BBC version, as that has 4 files to load (SOCCA, DATA1, DATA2 & DATA3)
now, when trying to load this Electron version (SOCCA, DATA1, ? (Locked))
into a BBC, it hangs on end of block 1A00, as if tape not long enough.. :? (? is load1781 call3100 len1B7E)
so wonder if the electron ULA can handle this last locked *RUN file, and the BBC can't
in the generated .TXT file, we have :

Code: Select all

The following block size is 280
THE EMPTY BLOCK FLAG IS WRONG.
Found :          ? 19   Checksum ok
31 data blocks written.
Carrier tone written, length 2140 waves.
Baud rate of the preceding data was 1321.596

32 data blocks written.

Dummy byte in carrier tone is &2A.

Carrier tone written, length 4 waves.
Dummy byte in carrier tone is &81.

Baud rate of the preceding data was 1322.521

THE FIRST BYTE OF THE NEXT BLOCK IS NOT '*'.
The following block size is 7
DATA BLOCK WRITTEN WITH A BAD CHECKSUM OR NON-STANDARD BLOCK.
33 data blocks written.
MISREAD A BLOCK.
Carrier tone written, length 2 waves

anyways, one to ponder on!
The .UEFhq does not work on BeebEm414 or bEm22
But, does work fine on ElkulatorV1 ,
the .CSW does not, but put here anyways to play back to elk using BackToLife .CSW<>.WAV
(not tested as yet..) EDIT: Working 8)
