I've tidied up the first post and added the at-a-glance attendees list. Sadly, I've just discovered I won't be able to make it as I need to be at Heathrow to catch a plan on the Saturday afternoon. Can't believe I'm a day out. Gutting.

Looking forward to hearing the fallout though, it sounds like a cracking year.

Sam.

Tip for those booking the hotel : They have a "family break" deal where you get a double room for £39 at the moment. This appears to be better than their "best rate".

Have finally realised this is on again - hotel booked for the Friday night and travel up (I think) arranged with flynnjs.

If anyone feels the need for more Beeb bits, I can probably bring some - my BBC B+ was pressed in to service last year when Arcadian couldn't make it!

I've just booked a twin for £26.10 as they seem to have dropped their prices.
I'll be travelling up Friday night from kings Langley and only need one bed ;-)

I'm not intending to bring an extensive amount of luggage to Wakefield, so apart from the dead LV-ROM player, which I think Jason said he may have some good news about, is there anything I do need to bring which Wakefield cannot survive without?

Not sure if there's anything in particular that's required.

I'm bringing along an Arc capable of being a Level 4 Econet server (but no clock), a UPURS cable for lee and the Watford VIDC Enhancer I've been borrowing from you so I can return it :D

I'm also bringing my soldering iron plus a few tools ;D

All being well I shall bring a Master Level 3 fileserver setup, including clock and a Master and A3000 to connect to it, so if you could bring your Econet expertise that would be great! :D

I shall also bring my Educational Software archive on CD if anyone wants a copy. Sorry no 4Mation stuff will be on it. :(

Bit of a mixed topic here . . .

I've looked on Chris's (Chris') Acorns site for RISCOS ROM part numbers, however, I've not found them!

Here are the numbers I have - and, they'll be at the show this Saturday - is it that near

4 Sets of 4 ROM each set: 0283022-01, 0283023-01, 0283024-01, 0283025-01
One of the above set has a paper note saying OS3.1!

I did find this set's numbers: Arthur 1.2 from A440:
0277-022, 0277-023, 0277-024, 0277-025

I may have other sets. If I find them in-time I'll bring them along.

ROM set 0283022-01, 0283023-01, 0283024-01, 0283025-01 were RISC OS 2 in my A3000. They are physically smaller than RISC OS 3.

Great!
Jason and I have decided to drop Starship Command from the high score competition - just as well as it would probably take most of the 3 hours for you and I to have our goes.

Would that have been when it was still in the athletics stadium? It has shrunk a bit since then :-(

I'll see you there. I'm curious to find out if there is enough sarcasm in the universe for you and rjek to be in the same room at the same time
