So far there will be five 8 bit tables at the show, if anyone else would like to have a table please get in touch asap with how many tables you want and what you are going to bring/do. We are getting the tables at quite a large discount so it won't break the bank!

Will there be enough room to squeeze my Arthur A310 on there, more than happy to contrubute to the cost if so?
If not, I'm more than happy to pay for mu own table.

The tables are 2m long, I'm going to have 3 machines + MDFS on mine so not really any extra room on that one :?

Hi ,

I'd be interested in taking an 8-bit table.
Will probably bring my master 128 & Acorn Winchester 130.

Might bring an elk and disk drive as well.

How much is a table?

Cheers.

Booked into the hotel for Friday night, so I think I can be moved to the 'confirmed' list!

Five more sleeps!!!
I've produced a small poster for ABug and Jason has sent me something to advertise the Cambridge meet. I've also produced a little handout detailing the ABug meets this year and I'd be grateful if a few of you could take a look at them before I print them out. The two files marked poster will be laminated and I'll print about 15 pages of the leaflet file giving a total of 60 handouts - probably a lot more than we'll need as I'm sure I only got rid of three last year!

ABug.zip (As it's on dropbox right click...Save won't work)

Simon, the Cambridge poster appears to be incomplete at the bottom!
Also the bottom right quadrant of the leaflet doesn't match the other 3 and the last one drops onto the second page.

More than happy to fix the second two for you, but would need to know the missing text to fix the first one. 8)

Thanks!

The last part of the Cambridge poster should read:
Request for help
This is by no means mandatory, but the museum would be very grateful if any attendees could take a look at some Acorn kit which isn't working. Additionally, there is a never ending inventory, and so they'd love it if anyone would be happy to catalogue a few items.

It originally had "for their website." at the end but it didn't fit on 1 side of A4.

The leaflet seems fine here and I've printed one out so I'm quite happy with that. Not sure why you're seeing something different - maybe zipping the file caused the glitch?

Probably different word versions, I had the same issue with something Dave H sent me.
As long as you're happy with it thats the main thing! :D

Just "polishing the econet" - is there anything specific that anyone would like to see installed on it before I finish up?

If I bring along a couple of beeb roms [1] is there anyone coming to the show that could help make rom images from them?

[1] A newer version of Beebug C than I've found online

Health permitting, I'm going to try and make it to this, most likely as a visitor. Though I might just stick the now working Electron in my boot, you never know when you might need one ;-)

Looking forward to this year's Wakefield binge as always!

I'm bringing a selection of broken/corroded/fire-damaged kit, some of which I hope is going to be repaired. If anybody wants me to bring anything that works, please let me know by 12 noon tomorrow.

Have a great day everyone, I will be on my way back from Devon so won't be able to make it, but I think my Frogger will be there in my stead :)

If I bring my SCSI2SD, will somebody be able to load into it the latest firmware version which supports custom mode pages but hasn't had an official release yet?:

I was hoping to attend tomorrow, but it's about 50/50 now due to family-panics.

Could some kind soul do me a favour, and look out for one of these on the charity stand?

http://chrisacorns.computinghistory.org ... Tuner.html

I'm still looking for one or two for a project, but they're not around much any more (I think people threw them away because there's neither analogue TV nor Teletext exist anymore). The only way I'm likely to get one is on the charity stall. If you happen to pick one up for me, I'll gladly pay you back, plus all the postage.

On the other hand ... if you end up battling someone for one, then double-check it's not me before you beat him to death and claim it as a prize. :)

Hi there.. I'll be showing up at the hotel this evening. Got me a long drive up from Essex so expect it'll be 8-9pm before I'm there.

Anyone else arriving tonight? Looking forward to meeting faces old and new in the bar...
