New member from Corby, Northants

Postby SimonWKing » Wed Sep 20, 2017 6:37 pm

Hi everyone, I recently managed to acquire a BBC and have sorted the power supply and installed MMC :D

I used to Use a BBC way back in school and did an 'O' Level in Computers on the BBC B. My parents also had a BBC B which made life easier and my Dad used to program it for his ameteur radio work (with me checking the code).

Looking forward to playing with my new machine and filling up all those other empty disk slots on the MMC.

Simon

Welcome, Simon. :D

Just think how good the Beeb would have been BITD with an MMC filing system attached.

Why do I keep collecting Acorn gear? I'm going to need a considerably bigger man-cave. :?

Thanks all. One question, I have lots of old micro user and acorn user magazines. Do we have a repository of the programs from these magazines?

Welcome,
Do you write stuff for your Beeb's, if not, you will find a few more additions http://bbcmicro.co.uk/index.php?rt_A=on&rt_N=on&search= or https://bitshifters.github.io/ or just around the forums.
