Hi from Derbyshire

Postby g0mgx » Tue Apr 04, 2017 6:57 am

Hi Forum Chaps

I'm Mark and I reside in Belper, Derbyshire.

I had a BBC micro way back when I was 12 or so and learnt to program & play games - the machine was actually the lauchpad for my entire career so I have a lot to be grateful for.

I've just ordered a BBC B bundle from Retro Clinic and am very much looking forward to bringing back some memories (and also playing Chuckie Egg).

Hi and welcome !

I've studied computer science at the University of Derby, and enjoyed the region.

Only just seen this - nothing very exciting - I'm a software engineer by trade and learnt my first set of programming skills on the BBC - BASIC and PASCAL if I remember correctly.
