I only want a 256GB flash stick

According to the packaging I'll get 9GB more with this ... seems legit!

"When purchasing one of our USB flash drive/memory sticks please ensure that you have read and understand the following information.These memory sticks are a Quality product and have been professionally upgraded, as such the capacity of these memory sticks can vary and may not always have the full 256gb capacity."

Sounds like fake capacity USB sticks to me ... Ebay is rife with them.

So if this is true;
possiblefakesseller wrote:" as such the capacity of these memory sticks can vary and may not always have the full 256gb capacity."

Shouldn't this actually read;
possiblefakesseller wrote:" professionally downgraded,"

Did you know that there are special cables that make your Electron faster? Apparently so, according to this seller:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ACORN-ELECTRO ... SwcLxYIOLx

A modern new 2016 special Acorn RF socket to TV scart lead so you can connect the Acorn to a modern television and get instant start up.

Modern! New! 2016! Special! I wish I knew the magic of these cables. It would be useful for my awful Dell laptop at work.

This one looks good, the description says...

The computer is in very good cosmetic condition and there is no battery leakage on the motherboard at all as it has been professionally cleaned although it does have some superficial scratches and discolouration to the casing as seen in the pictures.

But looking at the pictures all of the components around the battery are green.

Also the keyboard for it is on another auction for 20 quid.
Think i'll steer clear of this one :D

Would 'untested' have been better? :lol:

At least now one knows the PSU works and is guaranteed. :D

I'm not at all sure about this. It is a legitimate limited company. That means that no one else is entitled to register a corporation in the UK in that name. But it would not mean that you would get the IP associated with Acorn Computers. So you may not be able to legitimately use (or protect) the Acorn logo or to use or protect the selling of Acorn branded computer equipment.

Additionally, domain names are entirely separate and would not be conveyed with the company. acorn.co.uk, acorn.com, acorncomputers.co.uk and acorncomputers.com are all in the hands of others.

This is the sort of eBay ad that makes me groan / cringe

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RARE-Porsche- ... SwwN5ZiFYK

"Porsche" PET

1. LOLprice? ✓
2. Peddling the old "Porsche" myth? ✓
3. Specious nonsense? ✓ " My one has an ultra low serial number of 345 - so was probably the first in the country - purchased by the UK Goverment - it's possible it's a special experimental model. " - I cannot facepalm this comment enough. Can anyone help?
4. Price hyping? ✓ "one recently sold on ebay for £1195" - yes, and another working example recently sold for £160. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COMMODORE-PET ... SwajRZbhIU
5. Not working yet priced as if it's mint, new in box with a pair of Chuck Peddles Y-fronts? ✓

When it comes to scenes to accidentally share in a photo upload, I'm sure "a house" is one of the less embarrassing ones. :twisted:

I wonder what happened to pages 1 through 14. :-k
