Yes, I'd seen that. :)

It echoes my experience of running a course on BBC BASIC for Year 7 students a few years back. We used BeebEm because we could not afford to make the trip to Bletchley Park. The students had to produce an electronic Christmas card. Many of the students downloaded the software at home and spent ages on the graphics and music side of the project.

The presentations and the plenary were brilliant. Students constructively criticised each other's work, suggesting various different programming approaches and explaining the ones they had used.

BBC machines have still got it! =D>
