The Master isn't the best machine to test in when getting odd things happening. It does odd things all the time. Combinations of 65c102 co pro, Ethernet module, mos 3.5 and gosdc gives me weird issues. E.g. External DC and Ethernet conflict. Better to test on Electron. Or dig out my unexpanded Beeb issue 7.

Ah, fair enough, I concur that a 'does odd things all the time' machine isn't a good test-bed...

Best wait until you roll out the Elk for its AP5 then... 8)

To be fair to the Master I also do a lot of odd things, but there is only the one of me.

Talking about AP5 - Poor Dave (hoglet) has been through the mill with this one. I'm hoping he'll do a post detailing the problems and fixes. It should be interesting!!

Almost ready, me thinks. Although I still can't get Xilinx working on Windows 10 - Grrrr

That is Hoglet's bread and butter

Good to hear nearly there, the down side is all those projects I have on hold till AP5 is out then have to move to the 'waiting on me' category's. Instead of 'waiting on Dave(s)'.

A quick update on the MGC 3D printed case:

Huxley, 3D printer, is up and running, although still need a few tweeks!

The case design: Needed reworking to cope with a 0.5mm nozzle. Here's a snapshot to see what I'm doing with the online 3D CAD Vectary:
MGC Case Top View.png
MGC Case Bottom View.png
First designed in AutoCAD - I tried converting to SVG as Vectary can import these, however, when imported it hadn't kept its size . . . If I can figure a way to sort that it's a good way to get 2D to 3D. Still a few problems to overcome, but getting there. Vectary has still some issues to iron out!

I've now got a good Bottom Half of the case print . . . I'm still going to see if a different slicer will improve things, however. And the final version will be in white.

Note: This case will be just for the MGC . . . I'll need to refine the print for the other products - ABR, ATI ARA.

Now for the top half . . .

Oops I forgot to ask. Are they all pre-taken or on demand ordering (I really need a 3d printer). And how much were they? They look pretty snazzy. I think my MGC would like a case.

I'll be shipping them out as and when they come off the printer. I should be able to get 19 cases out of a 1Kg reel of PLA. I'm using Rigid Ink as it has quite a good reputation. So, if you'd like a case just shout and I'll put you on the list. Price . . . I'm asking £6.00 including P&P and label. However, as you haven't received your User Guide I can put one in the same package saving you a £1.

Sounds good to me, you can put me down for one if you have enough plasticine, but might as well wait till ready to ship AP5 and save even more in postage!

Yes, plenty still available - I'll try to always have them available, as I'm sure there are a lot of people still to discover this amazing Forum!

Column 'N' is not protected - so all you need is to place a 0 (zero) against any Game you don't want! I'll double check the spreadsheet . . .

Just checked - - - OK here!

That was odd.
Seems to have been a Libre office problem. I've updated it to the latest version and now it works fine.
I can begin...
Thanks

A big thanks to Dave,

A shiny MGC arrived safely at my house today (in Victoria, Australia).

It is very cool, I like it a lot.

It works a treat and looks very professional as well.

Nice work. Thank you.

Cheers,
Shane

(And a quick Piccy of it working  ).
