Drogna

Postby mjforbes » Thu Nov 29, 2012 10:39 am

Does anyone have a copy of the instructions for Acornsoft's Drogna lying around anywhere that they could post? I've been trying (on and off) for ages to figure this one out, but have managed to get nowhere...!

Cheers in advance,

Matt

I'll see if I can dig them out and post later.

Essentially though you're only allowed to move your avatar onto the shapes of the same colour or shapes of the same shape as the one indicated in your status bar.

In this screenshot, the red player can only move on cyan coloured shapes or "up arrow" shapes.

The blue player actually has a valid route to the gems on the left hand side of the screen.

After so many "turns" or you pick up a gem, the shape/colour of the shape in the status bar changes. You can also change it yourself if you're stuck but you lose a turn by doing so.

The aim of the game is to collect as may gems as possible and steal your opponents gems too.

As for the keys, I can't remember off the top of my head so I'll dig them out later.

Thanks for those guys; I thought it had to be something to do with colour/shape matching, but must be going daft as I couldn't figure it.

I know what I'm doing tonight as soon as the kids are zzz-ing.

Does anyone know of joystick issues with this game? ....I tried playing Drogna with the Voltmace twin joystick but I couldn't get any response out of joystick movements apart from the fire button.

Got it ----- as per the Instructions:

"The player will move in any direction the joystick points.........The move is actually made by pressing the fire button."
