Magic Mushroom screens

Unlike some of the other games I've been looking into, digging around in the level data and trying to modify, Magic Mushrooms came with its own screen designer. I thought it would be nice to be able to create a summary Web page for a set of screens without having to fire up an emulator and take screenshots, so I wrote a tool to do that:

https://bitbucket.org/dboddie/mushroomscreens

The Screens directory included with the Python source files contains a set of levels my brother and I made many years ago which we called "Murphy's Quest For Mushrooms". You can see the summary page for them here:

The game was always a favourite of mine - I thought it was great fun. I bought Magic Mushrooms from the computer shop in the Red House in Chard. And the bastards in the shop took the Magic Mushrooms badge out the box so I never got one. Still annoyed about that now!

I've got a load of MM screens on a cassette that I designed.

I spent some time over the last couple of days transferring files from cassette, and some of them turned out to be levels for Magic Mushrooms! :D

So, to keep everyone happy over the holidays, I've put them in a UEF and attached them here. Some level sets are incomplete, containing some of the original levels amongst the new ones. However, there are a couple of complete sets. I've run my utility on them to generate HTML files for them, and these are included in the archive.

Happy Easter Egg mushroom hunting!
