Woohoo! That works!

So that image and the tape image work.

That disk image also has an intro that isn't present in any of the other versions.

I can happily get stuck again just per my youth :)

Nearly all the disc images on bbcmicro.co.uk were collected and cleaned up by Mick Brown. I suspect that what Mick did with Rebel Planet was take the US Gold tape version of the game (possibly the UEF image from the STH archive), type in the instructions from the cassette inlay, and transfer the tape version of the game to disc.

Reading the description of the game it could have almost been Space Adventure by Virgin Games, (though not a text adv).
