OK. Let me be blunt :D
What is the max bid for this if we all chip in? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre ... 3071614156
Who is the designated bidder?

Lee.

yes Lee, we need a 'fund' for these MIA tapes,
I'am still top bidder at moment, & the morn won't be in bath at 10:50pm

BUT, as you say bluntly  who is taking the reins for this, and communication for fund / highest to go :?

as I said before (pg1) love doing MIA tapes, & dont collect, so could just sell on eBay again & [-o< get money back :?:

done this before for 3+ Atom MIA tapes, folk wanted to chip in, but just done from my own pocket anyways
plus, they are the only tapes still under my bed, not launched into my backfield (as one is the Only original left! )

thoughts.......

I chipped in once to purchase some MIA disks once and received nothing in return, except the warm feeling of helping somebody else get them and archive them

Having had a quick glance, Patreon consumes around 10% of any money pledged through it, so might not be the best thing but it would certainly make the international angle easy, and give us something that isn't as strongly tied to an individual as a bank or PayPal account.

Until then it sounds like private pledges to CMcDougall are correct for this item?

Which is the missing title, out of curiosity?

Adventure 200, H&H Billiards, and Highflyer, I think. Lee will correct me if I'm wrong.

No correction needed.
OK.
Set a max bid and we all chip in to Col, who can be the bidder.
How about £5 per person who pledges?

Five pledges.
That's a bid of £25 including postage.
Col, could you bid?
Then each person will need your PayPal address to send you their share.

mmmm was sure I put a post here, guess I forgot to click Submit
No point in me bidding for the stuff as I am not in the UK and most of it comes from there.
And am willing to chip in, fiver sounds good.
I would like a good quality wave file from the tapes myself, I am sure that is not so hard to arrange and scan of the documentation would be nice too.
Peter.

OK Col,
8 pledges.
Bid the lot and hopefully it will go for a lot less.
Any surplus can stay in the fund.
Moving forward I will try and add a PayPal donate button to bbcmicro.co.uk which automatically pays Col and delivers tapes directly to him.
Is that OK Col?

Lee.
