Re: Risc PC or RPC bits

Re: Risc PC or RPC bits

Hi there, Alas we're really not in a position to divine the truth in these situations, but when someone's first post is a request for stuff it usually sets alarm bells ringing - I hope you'll appreciate why we encourage people to be careful. Please, get stuck in - talk to people, reminisce :) In so ...

Re: Risc PC or RPC bits

Hi, Welcome to the forum! Whilst your post may be completely genuine, there have been similar posts on this and other forums by brand new members where attempts have been made to procure items cheaply then resell for profit. So, although I do not wish to cast aspersions, I would encourage long-stand...

It's gorgeous. I'm honestly very excited about this one. My other half is ecstatic too. I better move it out of the hallway and into the cave before she gets home.

Re: BBC Master noob

Good move :D 1) Yes, recap PSU - not *all* of them have the doom-caps, but most do. 2) ULA is soldered in, you need to desolder to fit NULA. 3) My personal recommendation is leave the DC in the beeb, and hook yourself up with a flashfloppy gotek and beebscsi mini - these work with the stock MOS ROM ...

Not an expert, but I'd follow the clock from the vidproc (IC6) and see where it stops..?

Usual notation for not is /, so not-RST is /RST :)

:( I’m not at all familiar with Electron hardware add-ons (despite it being my first computer - just a bit too young!) I think you'll come a cropper, as shadow ram can't be paged in/out - it's either or or off, and AFAIK you can't write directly to it, you have to go via the OS routines... *this co...

Right, can someone sense-check the attached? Tim, it's nowhere near as neat as your routing, it's the first time I've ever attempted something like this :D I think everything's connected properly.

Worked out the fills :) The only thing I can't work out is stitching the planes together with vias :( I end up with a gap around them when the fills go in. Any pointers?
