Elite article

Do we have this article in the archives somewhere? It's from an old Guardian supplement. If we don't I can get it scanned in..

Re: What are your favourite classic arcade games?

I suppose it depends what you grew up playing in the arcades. For me:

Gauntlet
Rolling Thunder
Congo Bongo
Double Dragon
Kung Fu Master
Tempest
Xybots

Mountain Panic is set a little later in the early 1930s, so you might be the first :)

Technomatic Eprom Writer

Evening Free to a good home. I have absolutely no idea if it works, is any use, the disc is rotten or anything like that so there's no guarantees on this one. On the other hand, it's free for the cost of postage, and someone else is almost certainly bound to get more out of this than I do, and it'll...

Re: Blank discs

5.25" ones mate which I can use to export disc images from my BBC to a connected floppy drive, I'm presuming I can just do:

Code: Select all

*IMPORT -D0 IMAGE.SSD

From the DataCentre BBC.

I can't remember much about them but isn't it best to have 40 track ones?

This looks absolutely brilliant, can't wait for the full version to be released, hope it's a proper Retro Software release on disc with box etc rather than just a download. You and me both! Loving those item descriptions that pop up when you pick something up! I seem to remember that was Samwise's ...
