Re: Atomulator Bugs Thread

This is what I see in Atomulator 1.27 on Windows:
bbchess1.png

The pre-release of 1.28 is identical.

What OS are you running on? What version of Atomulator?

That is the one I'm following. Too bad I don't see any commit by Thomas Adams in this one. Thomas's involvement was Feb/March 2017: https://github.com/stardot/b-em/search?o=desc&q=author%3AThomasAdam&s=committer-date&type=Commits&utf8=%E2%9C%93 Most of the work since then has been d...

Re: ABUG SOUTH 1 to 3 June 2018 (Hampshire) BOOKING THREAD

Just a quick note to say the room price has increased a little bit - it's now £160 for a double or twin room with breakfast for two nights.

I've just booked mine....

Anyone else want to sign up for this? It looks an excellent venue.

Re: UEF/CSW support Atomulator

Follow-up question: is the UEF attempting to set phase? I've always thought the specification goes somewhat off the rails on that. I don't see any phase chunks (0x0115) in the UEF being generated by MakeUEF. I've just been looking at the UEF handling in Atomulator, and there appear to be a couple o...

Re: UEF/CSW support Atomulator

I've eventually solved the mystery of why MakeUEF was having problems with my machine generated WAV and CSW files. It comes down to MakeUEF being incredibly fussy about some very minor details of the Atom tape format - much more so that the Atom is! It's a bit hard to know if this is by design or if...

Re: Atomulator Bugs Thread

IIRC the tape reading is still a bit buggy. Also the 'Show tape catalogue' option isn't working correct. Colin did find a work around but it's not 100% ok. I've been trying to work out this afternoon why my .csw file wouldn't catalogue in Atomulator. Turns out I was hitting this very bug, which is ...

It’s MartinBs User/ROM/RAM board with one of those cheap SD modules plugged into the User port. I also have one of these and have had some issues with the SD side of it. See this thread here: http://www.stardot.org.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=165745#p165745 It could be that the slightly different tim...

Re: Pi Zero Super Interface

Silly idea? Not silly at all, and it's something Dominic, Ed and myself have also considered over the last year. (Especially the idea of providing access to an SD Card (MMFS + ADFS), which would free up the user port.) But here are some things to consider.... First, the address of the Tube interfac...

It's not right though.

Look at the card with the "2" on it in the image you posted. The suit (probably clubs) is completely blank.

Kees, Thanks for those, they are now added. I've been looking at the screen corruption with Program Power Chess. It didn't seem as bad with Atomulator, which zeros memory. Narrowing this down, it seems that memory from 0x0400 to 0x05FF is being read and copied to the screen. I haven't worked out why...
