Re: Add a second floppy to Archs without support (i.e. extra Gotek)
The spare pcbs are now spoken for, but I’m going to order another, larger, batch of pcbs from TechBridge, so there will be some more of these for anyone that wants one. ‘Till then, there will be a short delay. Have a word with Henry (techbridge) about a scored panel. He's very helpful . . . Dave H :D

Good luck with your restoration. It may take awhile but well worth the end result. Lots of options for Floppy and Hard Drive replacements.

One thing to be aware of with Southern Belle is that if there are additional ROMs in the system, then it doesn't seem to work quite right, because of the additional interrupt service time. This is one of the issues that I wanted to 'fix' for the MGC e.g. disabling all ROMs other than the OS, BASIC ...

Another box of delights from Dave H :D Glad it arrived intact. I'll take this opportunity to raise a potential problem for AP5 kit units: The 2 x 20 way connectors, for the User Ports, are new - old stock. I've noticed, when I've been building them, that the pins have become 'aged'. So I've been pr...

Can you recall what the "correct" DC plug was please? I have just picked up an EMP-20 and what looked like a 5.5mmx2.5mm power adapter socket isn't :-( Sorry, I've been through my photos and it looks like I didn't take any of the power adaptor :( Maybe one of the 'new' owners would be abl...

I tried one of those, it was "ok" but slow and cumbersome and not much better than solder wick. After one 40 pin DIP I'd had enough and bought this: and bought this: A slightly lower cost version here . Just a slightly different case. There's also this review here . And this is the one CP...

Re: AP5, Pegasus/AP3-4/EUPURS Metal Case Design
EUPERS Case: Note: This was the most difficult one and the case can only be used if you are NOT using the battery! It involves: 1) A track cut - to isolate the centre battery connection. 2) Enlarging the centre battery connector hole. 3) Marking and drilling 2 more holes using the Case as a template...

An up date and explanation of the appalling delay in the manufacture and delivery of the metal cases.
