Re: Today I received.....

I bought both the 16C and 11C back in the mid 80s. Used them both throughout my working life. When I retired I sold the 16C (mint condition) - it sold for just under £100. I still have my 11C but don't use it anymore - so that's up for offers, if anyone is looking for one? I now use 16C and 11C apps...

Re: 128K banked flash ROM cartridge

You seem to have sorted out your case supply now. Have you calculated how much it costs to make each case? Most/All (?) slicers give you a reasonable idea of length and time to print. I'm using Simplify3D and with my current PLA supply the price works out at around £2 for the material taking 3Hrs f...

Re: 128K banked flash ROM cartridge

David, if you use SOIC packages for the components on the rear of the board and solder-in the main IC on the front you should be able to fit the board into a standard cartridge Case. I have a case design that will accept my PCBs and a standard Acorn Cartridge PCB. I've had Issues, to be sure . . . e...

Sorry . . . Late again to the party :D Attached is the Interword ROM and the JED file for the Interword PLD. I do have the PLD pinout, somewhere, but can't find it, at the moment. The pld looks relatively simple - with just two lines of code. Means nothing, of course, without the pinouts . . . I had...

1) Shoehorning in driver code for SCSI, IDE, MMC/SD into the same 16k space used by ADFS is not a option. This is just a hardware issue. Computer Concepts solved this way back when they introduced their Interword range. Much copied by Watford and myself, to name just two. You can probably expand th...

My feeling is that's a bit drastic, and might possibly have unforeseen consequences (who knows what existing code might rely on the default behaviour). The MOS Tube detection code, for example. Not really . . . We know exactly what the Tube is looking for, so that wouldn't be an issue. However, for...
