Re: B-em website - infected?

Belated thanks, Tom! Works a treat now - I'm expecting to hear some interesting comments from colleagues! :D

Thanks too, Roland and Nick, for checking it's not just the system set-up I'm using was at fault.

Re: B-em website - infected?

Christ, not this again... Thanks so much for the recent v.2.2 rebuild: Sophos/Win7 no longer complaining at download/extract. But unfortunately (on work machine: Plan B for company Christmas do next week when real Beeb dies) it has alleg42.dll but not alleg44.dll. So I've used this alleg44.dll down...

Re: Acorn Computer Music & Visual Artists

Is anyone here going to RISC OS experience 2015? It'd be good to cast the net further across Europe. If there are more involved then the case for applying for funding will be strengthened.

Re: Wakefield RISC OS Show 2015 / Sat 25th April 2015

I'll be there, only attending not exhibiting. Me too. This will be my first trip to the Wakefield Show for a number of years. My wife's in Manchester that weekend so we're going up there together. I'm planning to hop over from there with my 8yo son, who will probably hope to program in Scratch (or ...

Meanwhile I will put my feet up and concentrate on my Raspberry Pi. I may see you at future ROUGOL shows. That'll be a terribly well-deserved rest, and a truly generous gesture for the benefit of the community and wider society. Thanks for all the work you've put in to this over such a long time. I...

Re: High Score Challenge - S2R9 - Felix & Evil Weevils

Hi all. I thought I'd drop by to post a note saying that I hope to be able to step back in for a few of the future rounds/seasons. Unfortunately I've just not been able to fit this in recently. :( Although only performing low-to-middling in the scores, I've greatly enjoyed so far what I've been able...

Re: Stardot High Score Challenge - S2 R7 - Skirmish

when I try to load this on my Beeb, it gets as far as the 'joust' screen but just freezes there. The loader invokes a highly customised page mode function. One way to pass this is by simultaneously pressing both <SHIFT> keys... and they must be pressed with the end of a lance (I have no idea quite ...

False alarm! I seem to now be able to pass through the skeletons (or their legs, at least). However, I've slipped up somewhere because I've freed the villagers at the end of the game but I only have a score of 95%!

I've not found much previous discussion around Devil's Domain , aside from a brief mention in a thread about best original games . This is a tad tortuous Against my better judgment, I had another short session on Saturday night. The poor programmer probably got paid only a small one-off amount, and it's a real shame that Sup...

I think I sold the original tape once I had it onto disc #-o I've spent at least an hour or more (on and off) playing this and that's considerably more time than I spent BITD. This is unfortunately one of those games which my brother and I termed "Wow! It works." I.e. "We've transfer...
