Re: B+64K - 12k sideways ram working

MultiOS can be reprogrammed happily (it's just an eeprom) - I've ditched viewsheet for anfs, put vanilla adfs back on it and it's already y2k patched... Myelin has developed a in-machine reprogrammable mega rom, I have yet to build/test that but it's moving up my list! As soon as you have a HDD solu...

Re: Can I use this to hook my Amiga to the CUB?

!
Sorry, that probably sounded dim :D -> what I was driving at is why did they bother fixing it to digital RGB if it'll work fine in analogue mode, and be more generally compatible ;)

Q: Once converted to analogue, will it still work with the digital TTL?

OK - I think I found/fixed it. I can't get hold of Roland. If you do a shift-refresh it should reload everything?

I ordered them on... 3rd feb? So that's 13 days to make/ship by standard mail. Not bad! Solder resist isn't perfect, but that's fine.

Jason's posts don't tend to run as reserve lists, just to monitor levels of interest - one person then says "put me down" and subsequent people assume they're adding their name to a list :( The trick is to subscribe to the thread and get notifications of when someone posts, then you can se...

Strongly suspect it'll be something like that - the same as they used for the 80186 (which only had 512k):

Judging by the titles, some of them have hacks/cheats included. I have no idea which would be the best to use though - just try them and see which works?

Re: New to Roms

Hi Rich - to protect you from the barrage which may ensue... ROMs has a very specific meaning with the Acorn machines - ROMs are programs which are stored on actual silicon, and can be permanently installed into the machine. (ROM=Read Only Memory). There are lots of these, they're mostly toolkits, w...

Re: Apple II Super Serial Card Rebuild

Not 0405s then? :D
Fear not, sticking with 0805s and soics. I just want to keep it to under 10cm square if I can.

I might leave the FTDI out as it can easily be plugged in externally solving the issue immediately :) from a design point of view it makes more sense to have it in the cable.
