Been meaning to update on this, but currently got some personal issues going on, so not been around.
Went with the Rigol 1054Z, as Rigol-UK (aka Telonic) offered me a reasonable discount.

Re: Master level shifter for PiTube Direct won't fit with VideoNuLA
Can someone link to bought parts, and what they did to make stuff fit? I bought these , which make it fit perfectly. You need the 12/3mm versions, as there is a choice in a dropdown. I unsoldered the existing pins, and replaced them with the above. If you don't have a desoldering gun, you will prob...

Re: Master level shifter for PiTube Direct won't fit with VideoNuLA
I managed to get an ADFS hard drive, a VFS hard drive, PiTubeDirect, upgraded PSU and a wireless mouse interface (SmallyMouse2) inside the case; there's also econet and MultiOS in there... and I didn't even need to stick anything to the lid :) I need to get a VideoNuLA soon :) You're just showing o...

Re: Master level shifter for PiTube Direct won't fit with VideoNuLA
It's getting a bit tight in my case already.
We've got the VideoNuLA, PiTube Direct, Econet, MultiOS and Internal DC.
Next project is to build a BeebSID to go along with my BeebOPL and see if I can fit both of them in the case.

Re: Master level shifter for PiTube Direct won't fit with VideoNuLA
Got it all to fit. Found some 12mm pins on eBay and they are perfect:
The PiTube just clears the VideoNuLA and leaves plenty of space above for the internal DC.

...snip... , otherwise it will infringe on the CF card adapter that's attached to the DC. Just a thought, a short IDE extension cable would move the adapter out of the way? Good thought, JonC. I did think about doing that, but it then makes fitting the BeebSID and/or BeebOPL inside the case lid pre...

Re: Master level shifter for PiTube Direct won't fit with VideoNuLA
Thanks Rob. Much appreciated. I've done a bit of a of bodge, thus: connector-bodge.jpg but this makes the copro too tall for the case to shut, as I've got an internal DataCentre mounted to the underside of the upper case. internal-dc.jpg The standard 65C02 copro fits perfectly, which means that the ...

Master level shifter for PiTube Direct won't fit with VideoNuLA
Hi All, I've just received my two Master level shifters for the PiTube Direct, and found a small problem. My Master has a VideoNuLA installed, and the level shifter boards won't fit as the VideoNuLA is too tall. I should have looked more closely at the images of the adapter board. I just assumed tha...

Scope recommendations
Hi All, I've come to the conclusion that I'm never going to fix the faults in my remaining Beebs without a scope. I had a quick chat with Mark@Retroclinic (thanks for your time, Mark. Much appeciated.), but I don't think I can reasonably justify the expense for a Tektronix or Keysight model. My curr...

I've now flashed Rob's fixed code, and it all works fine. I've done some more testing today with a variety of MODE 1 games, and everything looks good. Thanks Andy - I really appreciate your help particularly as my test setup is hard to get to at the moment! No worries. Glad I could help. Have done ...

All the basics have been done. Changed the caps in the PSU. All voltages are good under load. DFS is the default. CMOS battery has been replaced with a new lithium pack from RetroClinic. Everything is identical to my other Master in terms of configuration, and it works just fine. I'm beginning to su...

Master floppy interface not working
I'm on a bit of a roll with getting my old Beebs running at the moment. Just dug my second Master Turbo out of the loft, and everything works apart from the floppy interface. I've cleaned up the pins and confirmed the continuity between the connector and the opposite end of the cable. Plugging in ei...

Re: New version of Frogger (was: A demo of what is looking like a new Frogger for the beeb)
Rob, do you happen to know if the cheap xilinx copy programmer listed for the Matchbox Copro will work? I did wonder about that, as I've got the Xilinx too. I think it should, but I ended up buying this . Works well, unless you're using Windows 10 x64. If you are, then the drivers that come with th...

Just in case it helps, this is what the game actually looks like:
I've just noticed that the colours for the bottom and middle 'kerbs' are green instead of magenta.

Hi Richard, I've just tried the new SSD on my NuLA equipped Master and the game runs with standard colours only. I've got the 1.02 version of the NuLA rom installed, and other NuLA enabled demos etc. work just fine. There might be one small difference in my setup, as I have just updated the NuLA wit...

Thanks,

Just when you think you've got things working... My issue 4 that I thought was working fine has now developed an interesting fault.
